Sources & details

Based on published features. Availability can vary by plan and model.Flow commands,Flow processing,Flow devices,Flow privacy,Superwhisper features andSuperwhisper local processing. Omilia processes dictation and computer-use screenshots on your Mac using local models. Model setup requires downloads. Actions in websites and other apps remain subject to those services’ privacy policies. Flow’s Privacy Mode changes data retention and training controls, not cloud transcription. Superwhisper requires local models for both transcription and text cleanup to keep both stages on-device.

Before you download.

Which Macs can run Omilia?

Omilia requires macOS 26 or later. Apple’s built-in text refinement requires a Mac, language and region supported by Apple Intelligence. An optional downloaded local model can also refine transcripts.

What happens if a cleanup model is unavailable?

Omilia preserves the transcript rather than discarding your words. It tries the optional local model first, then Apple’s on-device model.

Where do I find computer use?

Computer use is available under Commands. Hold ⌘ and say what you want Omilia to do.

Can I use my own shortcut and vocabulary?

Yes. Configure a global push-to-talk shortcut, add personal vocabulary and save reusable spoken snippets. These settings are stored on your Mac.
