This policy explains how Haros Labs Ltd handles information when you visit this website, contact the studio, download an app or use an app. Haros Labs is a one-person studio, but the company remains responsible for the data it controls.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Haros Labs Ltd, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. You can contact hello@haroslabs.com about privacy or any other support question.
This website
The website does not offer accounts, accept payments or use advertising trackers. It uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate visits. Vercel says this analytics service records anonymous page-view data without cookies. A data point can include the page path, referrer, approximate location, operating system, browser and device type.
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like other web hosts, Vercel may process technical request and security information needed to deliver the site. Read Vercel's Web Analytics privacy information for more detail.
Support email
If you email Haros Labs, the studio receives your email address and whatever you put in the message. That information is used to reply, investigate the issue and keep a useful support record. It is not added to a marketing list or sold. Avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed to answer your question.
The apps
Omilia
Omilia is a local-only Mac app and does not require an account. Dictation, cleanup through Apple's on-device Foundation Models, custom vocabulary and spoken snippets stay on the Mac. Haros Labs does not receive that content through Omilia.
The Omilia download link redirects to a release hosted by GitHub. GitHub receives the normal technical information associated with that download request under its own privacy terms.
Nula, Kynero and Prism
These apps are distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple handles Apple ID, payment and download information under Apple's terms; Haros Labs does not receive your full payment-card details. The App Store privacy label and privacy information shown inside each app describe the data used by that app's current features and should be read alongside this policy.
Where an app asks for access to the microphone, notifications or Apple Health, the permission is controlled in iOS settings and can be withdrawn there. Withdrawing a permission may stop the related feature from working.
When information is shared
Information is shared only where needed to provide the route you choose: with Vercel for website hosting and analytics, the studio's email provider when you contact support, Apple for App Store distribution and purchases, and GitHub when you download Omilia. Haros Labs may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the security and rights of users or the company.
Haros Labs does not sell personal information, share it with affiliates or business partners for promotions, or provide public user areas on this website.
Retention and security
Support messages are kept only for as long as they remain useful for the conversation, troubleshooting, legal obligations or resolving a dispute. Service providers keep technical information according to their own documented retention periods. Reasonable measures are used to protect information, but no internet or email system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal information, and to receive a portable copy. You can make a request by emailing hello@haroslabs.com. Haros Labs may need to verify the request and may retain information where the law requires it.
UK residents can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Children
Haros Labs does not knowingly use the website to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to the studio, email the address above so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
Changes
This policy may change when the website, an app or a service provider changes. The date at the top will be updated when that happens.
